Not a lot to say here, but here is the 2010 classic adjustable hat in Navy. I am a sucker for clean Chicago Bears Hats and while this is nothing we haven't seen before, there is a reason this hat style and design has been around for so long – it's great and it's a classic.
Chicago Bears simplicity at its best is exactly what you get with this Chicago Bears Navy BL Adjustable Hat from Reebok. Features embroidered front logo with Reebok logo and NFL logo on opposite sides plus team graphic on back closure. Adjustable closure at back for easy fitting Contrast color eyelets add detail 80% acrylic/20% wool blend for great authentic look and feel Officially licensed by the NFL
So here is a new look 2010 sideline players hat. I am sort of torn about this look. On one hand, I think there is loads of potential with the airbrushed stencil look. On the other hand, the way they used it here is just not that flattering. It is a bit peculiar the way the text sits underneath the logo and the logo sits on top of the A in "BEARS". But that said, I know this hat will appeal to some of our readers so I hope they continue to develop this look.
43-Triple Jet-Set Right. On two. Normally…this would sound like some sort of gibberish. But then you put on this Chicago Bears Reebok 2010 Sideline Player Flat Brim Flex Fit Hat – the same hat worn by Bears players roaming the NFL sidelines – and realize you've just called the indefensible play. Features raised embroidered team logo on front. Gradient screenprinted team name on front provides cool- unique look Contrast thick stitch on top visor Embroidered Reebok logo on side and NFL EQT Shield on back right Visor can be curved to achieve pro shape look Flex fit 98% cotton/2% spandex blend fits great and is easy to care Officially licensed by the NFL
Once again, apologies for the blown up graphic – I couldn't find anything in a higher resolution. Anyhow, its that magical time of year where we gather in Bourbonnais to squint in the sun as our 2010 Chicago Bears open up training camp. As a homage, we are reviewing out first visor here on Chicago Bears Hats. And it feels good. Truth be told I am kind of a visor guy. Something about visors to me just says professional. Whether you are a coach at any level, a super fan or a PGA golfer, visors communicate a certain level of awesome. This visor has a nice look – orange curved "Swish" styling and a basic navy blue look with the classic C logo. Not too flashy, yet, not too stiff either. Just my style.
Coaches Visor 2010 by Reebok features an embroidered team logo on the front, NHL Shield on the back right side, Reebok's name on the left back side, and team name on the back strap for closure. This visor is made of acrylic.
Hey all – pretty slow time for Bears Hats right now but hopefully some new looks will be rolled out for the season. If so, you will be the first to know! In light of the slow pre-pre-season we are in right now, I think its time for a blog round up!
So first off, let me say that I am a sucker for black on black hats. I love it when the Sox do it, I love it when the Blackhawks do it and now i'm loving it as the bears do it. Here is a very simple hat – just black and white… but not without character. The black stitched "BEARS" text embroidered on the bill pops nicely and the white outline of the C logo is really distinct. I would not be surprised if we saw this hat in Navy as well as just solid black. I am not sure about the white piping on the side of the hat but I suppose it does tie the hat together to some degee. Overall, this is not the hat you want for the summer, but this is a solid hat to wear into the fall!
Well, it's that time again – time to shirk the responsibilities of the daily grind for… the weekend grind.
First off, for those who love pain, SUPER BOWL CLASSICS: XLI – IND vs. CHI is being played on NFL network tomorrow.- I don't know if I ever need to see this game again but in case you have the strength, check the Schedule here.
Second, I read a humorous tidbit curtousy of @ZachZaidman: McDonald's recalls 12 million Shrek drinking glasses.Their last recall: 100,000 Chicago Bears bobble head figurines in 2002 for excess lead.
Finally, what weekend open thread would be complete without a youtube clip? AM I RIGHT?
It's summer time and things are really starting to heat up in Chicago. There is only one cure, at least, one cure right this second and that cure is a mesh backed hat. I know mesh hats, especially mesh foam hats have something of a bad rep these days but lets be frank: mesh hats keep your head cool. You know it and I know it, so we can quit with the posturing. Anyhow, this is the 2009 draft cap in orange and i think it is pretty slick. The 3 tone accent on the side is a nice addition without being too overbearing on the overall aesthetic of the hat. What do you think? I think this will do just fine until we see some true mesh foam Chicago Bears Hats.
I think it is safe to say that Charles TIllman's Charity flag football game is well on its way to becoming an off season milestone. This event is a great time and helps many families in need.
Fans can watch on-field scrimmages with 14 teams comprised of eight “Regular Joes” and a celebrity quarterback, meet Chicago Bears players and visit the Cornerstone Fan Zone, which will include games and activities for children of all ages.
Kids will have a chance to win prizes such as an iPod Touch and register to participate in on-field activities. In addition, the Jesse White Tumblers will perform at 1:15 p.m.
This hat is definitely something different and I love it. Working with off-team colors can be tricky but this gray plaid pattern with the touch of orange is absolutely perfect. This is an interesting pattern and this hat has a great deal of utility – I think a lady could dress this up but it still would look really sharp on a guy.
What we have today is a relatively edgy color blocked design. It isn't sitting with me well and I think the reason is that the angular color blocked effect is on both sides of the hat. If the entire right side was blue instead of a mirror of the left side, I would be all about this. Anyhow, I think this is a hat that will have a great appeal to younger fans. I also like how the reebok logo sits on this hat, it blends in a little bit more than normal.
